This is a great helmet at an affordable price for someone just starting out skating. I've used it on some of the hottest days and still felt comfortable. One thing pointed out to me was the bug netting. My husband was looking for a new helmet and was talked into buying an expensive European designed multi-use helmet and it had no bug net. In fact many of the expensive helmets have no bug netting. If you're allergic to bee and wasp stings you'll want some netting!!!
One thing I would prefer is change the chin strap so the buckle can sit more centered under my chin. Also the adjustment for the ears can be more adjustable so the strap can sit snugger to my cheek and not my chin. (I'm referring to the small circular piece that creates the Y in the strap)
